problemn with ufsdump to remote tape host

Hi All,

basically i am trying from machine1 ( as it has no local tape)

ufsdump -f machine2:/dev/rmt/0 /filsys

i get

DUMP : permission denied
DUMP: cannot connect to tape host

I have added entry in the tape host (machine2) /etc/hosts.equiv and /.rhosts

machine1 root

any clues ?
