Hi guru's,
I have an ugly issue I hope someone can shed some light on.
I have a Sun Ultra 60 running RH 6.2 (fully patched)
The use of RH here is a long story so I will spare you.
This machine serves Netsaint pages through Apache
I'm running 8 seperate instances of Netsaint.
Each with several hundred hosts monitored.
The server runs great for a day or two and will eventually
stop/freeze/halt running. I lose keyboard access and all network
connectivity.
I have to hit the power to restart the server and then everything comes back
just
fine until the next freeze up.
Logging shows nothing!!! Seemingly due to the server just stopping working.
I have started logging everything to the console to see if I can catch
anything strange
and whatever is happening does not seem to be logged anywhere.
I do have a Solaris 8 setup running the same thing with no problems, but
bossman
wants the RH to work...
I have tested this with an Ultra5 and and Ultra80 with the same results.
Any ideas?
Does RH have issues running on SPARC I am not(but need to be) aware of..?
Perhaps I missed something in the many list archives, I have searched many,
along with newsgroups and google.
