PRNGD problem

I have an intermittent problem with ssh (OpenSSH 3.0.2p1), from time to
time, we get the following error message when using ssh

Couldn't connect to PRNGD socket "/tmp/prngd-pool": Connection refused
Entropy collection failed and entropy exhausted
 
And If we try it again in a while, it will work.
Any idea
