Solaris 8, Latest st patch, Solstice Backup (aka Networker):

I've one server that's acting up weird mounting SAN connected drives in a
DDS setup. Successive multiple mounts are not done in a timely fashion and
just times out. On this particular server, inquire takes a fair amount of
time. I am thinking of reinstalling the pass-thru driver:

- Is there a strict need to reboot after installing/reinstalling the SCSI
passthru drivers?
- Any hints/tips at troubleshooting lus behavior (a truss on the nsrmmd
process shows looping through all drives and lingering a shile in
/devvices/pseudo... path)

Thanks.
