I have downloaded sarge utility. After installation, and running, I am not
getting data and gifs.
OS: solaris 2.51
Here is what I did:
Installed sarge
# gzip -d sarge_v0.53.tar.z
# tar xvf sarge_v0.53.tar
Original Directory:

-rw-r--r-- 1 2187 21 98 Apr 22 15:03 hosts.master
1) Create a master file.
green# more hosts.master
"Servers" grizzlies Starchoice
"Servers" green Hits
2) Create the top-level directory.
I created a top level dir, but the webgen is complaining about path. I can
still run from /sarge_v0.53
3.Check Path /usr/local/bin/perl
4) Run webgen.
green# webgen -n -p -r /sarge_v0.53 /sarge_v0.53
Here are the new dir got created.:
green# ls -lrt

5) Run bin/loadall.sh.
# cd bin
# loadall.sh
6) Merge with sys cron jobs.
Here is my sys cron jobs:

30 23 * * * /usr/lib/sa/sa2 -s 8:00 -e 18:01 -i 1200 -A
# sarge collection data
# Collect SAR data from remote hosts for performance graphs
0,15,30,45 * * * * /sarge_v0.53/private /sarge_v0.53/data/hosts.Servers
/sarge_v0.53/Servers/data > /dev/null 2>&1
# Generate performance graphs
5,20,35,50 * * * * /sarge_v0.53/bin/sarge.Servers > /dev/null 2>&1
I checkeed the images, and data directory, but it is empty.
green# pwd
/sarge_v0.53/images EMPTY
/sarge_v0.53/data EMPTY
/sarge_v0.53/Servers Several html
/sarge_v0.53/Servers/data Several *.dir and *.pag
/sarge_v0.53/Servers/images EMPTY
When I view graphs through Netscape, no GIFs comes up.
Could you please point me in right directions.
