VM hangs during startup

Solaris 2.6 Generic_105181-30 sun4u
Cluster 2.2 (2 E3500)
VM 3.0.4,REV=04.18.2000.10.00
2 5200 mirrored across controllers.

On both servers, when we try to reboot, VM hangs during startup.
We inserted "set -x" in all vxvm-XXXX startup scripts under /etc/init.d and we
have seen that the startup seems to stop during the execution of command
"vxrecover -n -s" in the vxvm-startup2 script. After two hours we breaked off
the process by "Ctrl-D", we run manually the vxvm-startup2 script and resumed
the server startup with a normal completion.
Can anyone help me understandig what is happening ?
Did you have any experience in the same problem?
Thanks and best regards

Amedeo MARTINACCI
