Hi Managers,
We will soon be changing the ip address for every
device on our network and I am looking for advice on
the order in which we should change the IP address on
the different devices and servers.
In which order should we switch IPs on the different
systems; for example: DNS entries and the actual IP
Address of the DNS server, NIS entries and IP of the
NIS server and slave(s),file servers, Switches,
Routers, other servers and clients?
Does anyone have any additional "words of wisdom"
regarding the IP change?
I will summarize.
