Hi Gurus,
Want to know something about user groups in solaris.
Our's is a vlsi company and we have a situation where our engineers
work on more than one project in the company.
Due to this we have users that belong to more than one user group.
( we have got nis implemented )
Now when a user adds a file anywhere ,
the file will have owner access rights as well as group access.
This group access will be the primary group to which the user belongs.
Can we have entries in .cshrc file or something , that can force a
file that is added by a user to get a
particular group access (any group to which the user belongs )
and not the primary group that the user belongs to.
If this is possible the user could just source .cshrc file (project
specific)
and work on that project.
