DiskSuite vs. Veritas

Hi,

The most current version for DiskSuite is 4.2.1 which was released in 2/00 (the best I can gather) and it is free from Sun. Has Sun stopped developing DiskSuite? Veritas is very expensive and popular. What are the main difference
between the two (I am referring to Vol. Mgr in particular), beside the obvious cost? Are there any other alternatives?
Any other thought on the general area is appreciated.
