SUMMARY: resolv.conf

Hi all
Thanks for all the answers i got on this question.
(that was realy a lot)
I should have studied "How DNS work" a little more.
What did the trick for me was not in the resolv.conf file, but to add a line
in the named.boot file:
forwarders x.x.x.x (ip-address of the DNS server on the other network).
Then to resolve the ip-address of a host on the other network I do a
nslookup with the hostname including the domain name.
