Dear Sun Managers:
I have a buddy who's got a bunch of E4500's (multiple cpu's, with
different
operating systems ranging from 2.6 to 2.8). He is really concerned about
the Ecache parity problem. Has Sun come out with a magic patch that
fixed
this problem yet? Or was it strictly a cpu hardware problem with a
particular
revision of 400 Mhz cpu?
Has cpu replacement always fixed the problem? how about applying
patches?
