Sizing a box

I've been asked to look at the hardware being used on a couple of our
Oracle database boxes. One is overpowered, one is fine, but in the event
of a failover is underpowered.

Is there a good site or HOWTO on sizing a box for the database it runs?
We're assuming minimal assistance from teh DBA's as they like to keep
information very close to their chest. I can probably get someone to
dig table sizes, etc out of them but I doubt they'll volunteer much.

:wq!
