Hello
Since updating libz ld doesn't seem to be able to find it
I get errors of the form
$ ld.so.1: ./bin/my_print_defaults: fatal: libz.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory
libz.so.1 exists:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root other 13 Apr 8 15:11 /usr/local/lib/libz.so.1 -> libz.so.1.1.4*
Setting the value of LD_LIBRARY_PATH solves the problem for some executables
but not all (and I gather is questionable whether its good practice to use this
anyway)
I've tried recompliling binutils and gcc but I get the same error
Any thoughts appreciated
