How to determine the number of Veritas DataBases and Logs?

Sorry, forgot the Subject.

Solaris 8
VeritasVM 3.04
VxFS 3.3.3

How to determine the number of Veritas DataBases and Logs? The numbers
I get from "vxprint -Ath | grep dg" and the number I get from "vxdisk list" do
not mach. To make it simple this is one rootdg with one disk in it:

DEVICE TYPE DISK GROUP STATUS
c1t5d0s2 sliced disk01 rootdg online

I seem to be able to change the number of logs and databases as
displayed on "vxprint -Ath | grep dg":

#NCONFIG=databases field increases!
vxedit set nconfig=4 rootdg
vxprint -Ath | grep dg
dg rootdg 4 default 0 1012323508.1025.chico

#NCONFIG=databases field increases!
vxedit set nconfig=5 rootdg
vxprint -Ath | grep dg
dg rootdg 5 default 0 1012323508.1025.chico

#NLOG=logs field changes from default to 2
vxedit set nlog=2 rootdg
dg rootdg 5 2 0 1012323508.1025.chico

>From the above I am assuming that my commands work and the number of
databases and logs have change accordingly.

However, when I used "vxdisk list c1t5d0s2" against the only disk on the
disk-group, here is the information I get:

configs: count=1 len=2630
logs: count=1 len=398

It is saying that the configs and logs counts are 1. What is this field
mean? How does it relate to the changes on the number of logs and databases
above?

How many of you use "vxedit set nconfig=all nlog=all rootdg" as a best practice?

Carlos
