risk of drvconfig on live system?

Sorry to repeat a question asked (couldn't locate answer)

        Please can someone tell me what risk running drvconfig has
        on a system which has FCI-1063 fibre attached disks via brocade
        if the devices are already present in /dev/dsk drvconfig (no perams)
        will not relink them?
