A5200 Offline

Hello SunManagers,

Have an E5500 server running Solaris 2.6 and two A5200 RAID's. One of the
A5200's had a bad drive, which brought the fiber channel offline, thus loosing
connection with the that specific A5200 RAID.

Sun service off-lined the drive in question using the front panel of A 5200, and
the fiber channel came back on line. However, Sun service did not replace the
failed disk. Our problem now is that we can not replace the bad disk because it
is offline and "format" or "vxdiskadm list" will not show it.

What is the process to gracefully tell the system that this disk is gone and we
want a new one to take it's place?

Thanks,
