Hello All,
I have always used perl when I needed to do any kind of date math. After grabing the number of seconds since the epoch, it's simple to subtract or add ($days * 60 * 60 * 24).
Is there a UNIX command that will get the number of days since the epoch, or is there a command that will help with date arithmetic?
So far I know of gawk and perl (and obviously C) to do such things.
Thanks in advance,
--Buddy
