How to setup ssh-agent under GNOME in Solaris 8?

I'm using SSH Communications 3.1.0 (not OpenSSH) with Solaris 8.
However, I would like to be able to use ssh-agent to encapsulate my
entire GNOME (v1.4 from Sun Companion CD) session so that I enter my key
password once (through an xterm) during initial load of GNOME and this
will give me the ability to log into other machines without entering my
password every time. I have this working fine under CDE but it seems to
hang GNOME upon inital load of window manager. Can someone tell me
exactly how they are doing this?

Thanks
Robert
