Boot from Sol 2.6 installation cdrom using PROM command:

boot cdrom -s

Wait for system to boot to single user mode then, mount root partition on /a
using command:

mount /dev/dsk/c0t3d0s0 /a

Navigate to /cdrom/Solaris2.6/Products and reinstall SUNWcar package into /a
using command:

pkgadd -d . -R /a

Unix rocks man.
