Hi,
If anyone knows how solaris assigns process number to
applications.I have a peculiar problem with my web server iplnet
4.1 with solaris 8.
that is solaris keep on assigning process number to the client
requests(browsing).When it reaches some value
as per our observation it is 30,000.which I feel it is maxpid
kernel variable ,our web server hangs.
so is there anyway to tell solaris to reuse the process -ID.
