Hi All,
Special thanx to the persons who replied my query.I had specified the
sysidcfg directory with -p option at the time of client installation, but
still its not being automated, though its getting the sysidcfg file. I am
giving the syntax of sysidcfg file below :
system_locale=en_US
timezone=US/Eastern
timeserver=localhost
terminal=vt100
name_service=NIS {domain_name=xxxxxxx name_server=xxxxx}
security_policy=none
network_interface=hme1 {hostname=host ip_address=whatever protocol_ipv6=no
netmask=whatever}
Please let me know whats the snoop about. Is there there anyway without
the installation of Solaris we can install packages and patches only. please
let me know ASAP. Thankyou u all once again.waiting for the replies. All
suggestions welcome.
Brijen.
