Silver Bullet Security Podcast with Gary McGraw

DULLES, Va., May 15, 2006—Cigital, Inc., a leading software quality
management (SQM) consulting firm, together with IEEE Security &
Privacy magazine, today announced that Chief Technology Officer Gary
McGraw, Ph.D., will host a series of podcasts. The first podcast is
available now on both the Cigital website and the IEEE Computer
Society website.

The Silver Bullet Security Podcast with Gary McGraw will initially
feature a series of in-depth interviews of security gurus. The first
features a 20-minute conversation with Johns Hopkins University
professor Avi Rubin, who is best known for his groundbreaking work in
electronic-voting security.

In addition to the audio podcasts and associated RSS feeds, excerpts
of the interviews will be published in each issue of IEEE Security &
Privacy magazine. “The podcast interview medium is a fun and
entertaining way to get to know more about prominent security
experts,” said McGraw. “Avi and I had a great time putting the first
edition of Silver Bullet together. The entire series will be a blast.”

McGraw is a renowned security expert himself, having authored a
number of best-selling books in computer security, including his
latest, Software Security: Building Security In (Addison-Wesley). His
perspective as a veteran security expert gives the Silver Bullet
podcasts a unique twist.
