hard code the MACs to each switch port

always use encryption on the LAN: SSH, OpenVPN, https, smtps, stunnel, etc.

segregate important servers on separate LANs, not just separate VLANs.
(Most switches connect all the VLAns together when you over flow
the switch's MAC table)
