The tools that you are using work on a send, expect. I think with
brutus with no modification on the telnet protocol it looks for the
string "incorrect" as a primary response to signify a negative login.

What is probably happening is that your app doesn't use that string,
and its taking that to mean a positive login - so you are going to
have to change parameters in the tool to specify the correct negative
login response for the speedtouch.
