('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) If it is an enterprise deployment - most likely the NICs are simply redundant - with the OS doing the switching if one of the NIC's goes down - that said, it is possible to run a service on a specific NIC - although not common.

>From a pentest POV, I would portscan the box with one NIC disconnected and vice versa - to see if anyone has done that in deployment.
