I'm assuming you want patched and unpatched?

On the Windows side...

Secunia http://secunia.com/ RSS feed on the right

Microsoft Security RSS feeds
Microsoft Technical Security Notifications:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/notify.mspx
You want the comprehensive version that gives you the heads up advanced
notices and what not

MSRC blog
http://blogs.technet.com/msrc/

Full Disclosure

Daily Dave
https://lists.immunitysec.com/mailman/listinfo/dailydave

Metasploit RSS feed
http://www.metasploit.com/

OSVDB mailing list
http://www.osvdb.org/mailing-lists.php

NTbugtraq.... not quite as useful as it was
http://www.ntbugtraq.com/

SecuriTeam
http://www.securiteam.com/mailinglist.html

Mailing lists at Security focus [as is this one]
SecurityFocus Mailing Lists:
http://www.securityfocus.com/archive

I'm sure there are lots more that I'm missing....

On the linux side... I'd subscribe to whatever dist you are interested
in ... both SuSe and RedHat have Security announcement mailing lists.

Magazines are too out of date.. great for offline reading though.

Admining on Win/Linux boxes... to what extent? Meaning in what roles?
DCs? Mail servers? Database servers? All of those...if so....Ehlo blog,
SQL blog, Winserver blog all on the Group Technet blogs are excellent
resources... http://blogs.technet.com/

Not as familar as a Group RSS feed for the Linux adminy side of the
world.. I'm sure they are out there though.
