Knoppix is very easy to customize. Just go to the Knoppix homepage
and download the Knoppix Remastering Howto, it's really easy to
remove all the packages you don't need and update it with the
packages you need. We have made a distribution for security
porpourses called CDkiller with nmap 3.55, nessus, ethereal,
hydra, forensic tools, etc. It has everything you could
need for a security consultoring job and it even has space
to add new tools if you needed.

Once you have the trees in the hard disk it's just 10 or
15 minutes to build a new distribution with all the
tools you need.
