RE: Ethernet TAP's

Hi Dave,

I use TAPs from networkcritical.co.uk, come in Copper/Fibre varieties
and various packinging types. They even do an aggregate TAP which is ok
for low bandwidth connections (instead of two monitor ports, they are
combined into one, saves on load balancing). Nice thing about this
company is that the TAPs are designed for IDS purposes, the multiport
ones have proper power supplies, not the external transformer types
found with Finisar.

Rgds,

Simon

Any recommendations on specific Ethernet TAP's for sniffing switches?
