Dear Mr. Northcutt,

You may know me from this thread...http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/101/353492/2004-02-08/2004-02-14/0. I am the one who said SANS track 4 was a waste of your money. I would like to retract my statement, as requested by you, and continue to state that SANS track 4 was not worth my time or my money, but it might be beneficial to anyone else. Is that what you wanted me to say?

For those who don't know, Mr. Northcutt decided to leave a very nasty message on my personal voice mail at home stating that what I said was defamation and that he would like me to retract my previous statement that SANS track 4 is a "waste of time and money". What he failed to realize is the fact that his message itself was borderline threatening and I would like a retraction of his message on my viocemail, as it scared my family while I am currently away on business. So, Mr. Northcutt, please call my house and leave an apology for my family. I have abided by your request, so I would expect a man of your integrity and credibility to do the same. I am choosing to not post your voicemail message for obvious reasons, but I assure you sir, after this little incident, I will NEVER, EVER, attend any SANS sponsored class. You sir have lost a valuable customer, and quite possibly more...That is if anyone asks me for my opinion. And let me add...I will be shredding all of your
books as well. Little did you know, but I was ONCE a big fan of yours. I stress the word ONCE!
