('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) In my opinion, Back|Track has been my LiveCD of choice for a while. Back|Track was originally two projects, Auditor Linux and WHAX, which were merged into one distro.

I've found Back|Track to be the most complete pen-test distro aside from the old Auditor days. It includes custom shell/Python scripts and wordlists, the menu is very well thought out, and most of the tools have been automated as much as is possible. For example, Kismet automatically configures itself on startup, which was a really nice touch.
