Hi,

This behaviour also occurs with Checkpoint Firewalls performing "NAT on
Client side" where the NAT is done on the interface closest to the
client (or tester) instead of on the interface closest to the
destination.

Regards,
Dieter

Subject: Traceroute question

I am running a traceroute and have two hops that report the same
address. Could someone please explain what would cause this? I suspect
that this is some type of firewall?

Regards,

Ralf
