('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) Greetings folks,

Just a quick heads-up that I finally got around to working in some enhancements to fgdump based on a couple of requests I received. As a result of those changes, I had to modify pwdump6 slightly as well. The main changes to fgdump are as follows:

    * Running fgdump with no command line parameters now does a local dump using the currently logged on user. If you are looking for help, use the -? option. I added a message to the startup in case you forget. :)
    * Added -o option which skips password history dumps
    * Much better handling of antivirus. Previously, fgdump looked for a single AV service to stop, now it is capable of locating and stopping/starting multiple services. This should help where silly AV vendors have a service which automatically restarts AV when the main service stops.
    * Miscellaneous other bug fixes

FYI, I unfortunately don't keep up with mailing lists as I should, so if you have questions, please feel free to mail me directly. Otherwise I usually only find out about postings after they get forwarded to me. :)

Enjoy!
