I'd say that BackTrack is still your best option and you'll be glad to
know that it has a built in installer. Just check the FAQ at
http://www.remote-exploit.org/index.php/Backtrack_FAQ_Install2HD

FYI, I've had the installer flake out a couple of times. If that happens
follow these instructions.
