Some of the books I like reading:
- Gray Hat Hacking - The EH Handbook - Osborne,225709-1. Shon Harris and
others did an amazing job of compiling everything in an All-in-One book.
- Know Your Enemy - The Honeynet project - Addison Wesley, ISBN
0-201-74613-1.
- Hacking, The Art of Exploitation - Jon Erickson, ISBN 1-59327-007-0
It explains theory and practical examples for vulns and how to exploits
them. Things we do on daily basis tough.
- Web hacking, Attacks and DEFENSE - Shah & Shah /Foundstone
- Hack I.T. - Addison Wesley, ISBN 0-201-71956-8
- Building Open Source Network Security Tools - Wiley ISBN 0-471-20544-3
These books are about the pen-test methods, tools, ethic, etc, I will
encourage you to also read and understand most of the technologies and
concepts used to execute business today.
