I recently attended the Applied Penetration Testing course from
www.ivolution.ca/training.htm, which presented a methodology to penetration
testing that could be easily replicated for any client. It also provided
all the resources a security tester would require to do proper research into
vulnerabilities and exploits

The class was technically intense and you could tell that the instructor,
Richard Zaluski, was drawing from years of experience and current
developments. A bonus, I thought, was the amount of Hands-on labs that
instructed in proper tool application, results interpretation and
vulnerability to exploit mapping.

Capture the flag events really helped with applying and focusing the
knowledge you learned in lecture and hands on labs. Very practical. Highly
recommended.

Certifications," it still sounded like some people got a lot of value out of
the CEH training course itself - even if only to network with other security
professionals.

be hundreds of them, but it would be nice to take a CEH course where "the
best trainers" and/or "the most value" etc would be found.
