wget for NNTP?

Hi,

Anyone know of a wget or curl like capability for usenet newsgroups?

For example, something that can do a batch download of every posting in a given newsgroup by a given author, or by thread or other criteria?

Ideally, this would be a program where each message would be stored as a separate file.

Anyone know of or have used such a program?

Also, setting up an INN server and sucking down a news feed is not the type of solution I am looking for (and this has been suggested more than once!).

THANKS!
Jon Kibler
