Hi,
I have recently completed my degree in Software Engineering, my thesis was
entitled "A service specific approach to IPSs". You may want to give it a
quick flick through. Also the bibliography at the end may have some useful
reading material for your thesis, namely the book "Intrusion Detection and
Prevention".

Note that the software is a very very very basic prototype, just enough for
