I have had this happen a few times where an unmounted file system actually gets filled with data that you won't see while it is mounted. The filesystem type is hfs and I have used bdf to check their size and space availability. The same thing has happened in another filesystem. I've done a successful umount and fsck just to see that nothing has changed. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, javier
