"Will never work. The P8800 processor is 64bit only, 11i only.
And 11.00 is obsolete this year. Makes no sense to put an app
on an obsolete OS. So for the shorterm, you'll have to pick
a machine that still runs 11.00 (I don't think there are any
current models that do that now). Note that if the app must
run on 11.00 with a 32bit kernel, your options are extremely
limited. No hardware in the last couple years will run a 32bit
kernel so if the current app's certification is for a 32bit
kernel, you'll have to look at K-class or possibly some A-class
machines (A500 or rp2450).

The application is currently running on a rp5430 with 11.0 at our main
location in Denver. The E55 is at our remote location in San Diego with
a small subset of users so if I can find a C3750 somewhere with the
P8700 processor, I know that will work.

Will 11.0 run on the P8800 RISC Processor. I currently have an
application running on an old E55 and need to replace the server soon.
I am looking at the C class workstation that uses the P8800 RISC
processor. I have to stay at 11.0 as that is what the application is
certified for and there is no money for the programmers to re-certify on
11i. The application is due to be replaced with SAP sometime next year
and all the money is being spent to make that happen.
