The latest firmware of the MSA1000 enables connecting the array to
Windows and HPUX together. Check the firmware version of your MSA.
4.48 is the firmware which supports all the OS together including HP-UX.
You can check the release notes. Prior to this version you have to load
an alternate firmware specific to HP-UX.

We(*) have bought a msa1000 disk array to attach to a HPUX11.11.
We now want to attach it to Windows 2003 also.
From a creful rereading of the web pages, it looks like the array can be attached
to evrything but HPUX __OR__ only HPUX.
Has anyone attempted to attach the array to both HPUX and Windows?
Does it work?
