QUESTION:
How to setup VxVM 3.5 with a Clarion CX500 on HP-UX 11.23 (itanium)?

Get the ASL for the array so that VxVM knows how to handle it.

It was a simple problem after all.
I just had to get the ASL for the array : VRTScx600pi_275014.tar.Z from
this site:
http://ftp.support.veritas.com/pub/support/products/VolumeManager_UNIX/
After that all went smoothly.

Subject: [HPADM] VxVM doesn't recognize Clarion CX500 LUNs
Hi Admins,
I am trying to setup Veritas Volume Manager 3.5 (Base-VXVM) on an 11.23
server.
There are several LUNs available from a clarion CX500 but when I do a
'vxinstall' it only recognises the OS disks.
This is the error I get on the clarion LUNs:

Any idea of what the problem is?
Note:
I have Veritas Volume Manager 4.0 working perfectly on another server
with the same OS (11.23), same PowerPath version (HP.4.3.0_b110) and on
the exact same array (the CX500).
