Hi gurus,
Model : K580
OS : HP-UX 11.00
Just installed a 100BT/9000 GSC card (J3514A) on my machine. But don’t know why it's not detected. Ioscan output is quite strange:
# ioscan -fnH 8/12/2/0
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description
=====================================================================
unknown -1 8/12/2/0 UNCLAIMED UNKNOWN PCI Ethernet (10110009)
when in another machine with same class and OS, its output is:
# ioscan -fnH 8/0/2/0
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description
=====================================================================
lan 1 8/0/2/0 btlan4 CLAIMED INTERFACE HP HSC 100Base-TX Prototype Card
I believe I need to install btlan4 driver, but from SAM the driver is not even listed.
I also tried to install the card driver J3514A from the application CD, but unlike to other systems, I can only install 2 components. The other component, J3514A.100BT-GSC-KRN, can't be installed, saying it's not available in the depot.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? Please share.
Regards,
Edi
