Hi Admins,

Thanks for those you replied...

I was able to manage collecting Memory statistics beside 'glance'.
Either we can use the adb or kmeminfo. Please see this site.

However, only left here is the disk utilization. As i've mentioned on my
previous email, i've already created script that will do the computation
of those VGs. However, for those server that do not use LVM, then that's
my problem. Any idea?

<< Disk Utilization >>
ALLOCATED SPACE for /dev/vg00 34712 MB USED SPACE 27124 MB FREE SPACE
7588 MB USAGE (%) 78.14

        Dears,

I forgot to mention for memory, is there any other HP tool other
than 'glance' that will provide the statistics like below. Actually we
have 'glance' but not all HP servers esp those dev't machines.

        << Memory >>
        16008 Mb physical memory
        1838 Mb memory free
        89 % used

Appreciate any ideas/comments/suggestion. Thanks in advance.

        Regards.

                Hi Admins,

Thank you for all those who replied. I've already done
creating the script for CPU and load average (pretty simple) that will
collect on diff platforms (HP-UX, AIX, any flavour of Linux).

Now for memory collection, I can use 'svmon' on AIX and
'free' for Linux. However, I can't see utility/tool for HP that has same
output like svmon and free. Please help.

For the disk utilization, I've already have script that
will do the computation assuming you are using LVM. I'm having hard time
if not LVM. Any idea anyone?

                Regards.

                        89 % used

Statistics

                                Hi Admins,

I am currently doing some automation of
collecting system statistics such as CPU, memory, disk utilization and
load average for all Unix platform(HP-UX/AIX/diff flavor of Linux). I
have already created a script for CPU and load average. However, I am
getting a hard time for memory and disk utilization. Can anyone give me
an idea on this?

                                Thanks a lot.
