Hi List,
Has anyone actually used the pvchange command to extend an existing physical volume? I see that the -x option either allows, or disallows the extension of a pv, but how do you actually extend it? I think it would be used something like this:
I have a 16 gb lun on a Clariion CX600 san. I have it in a volume group on the HP, with a logical volume, and filesystem on it. If I were to extend that lun at the san end to, lets say 20gb, and I have set the max pe on the volume group to accommodate a 20 gb disk, how would I actually extend that physical volume?
