        Hi List,

> I am installing an application that utilizes a Sybase database and am having issues with the initialization of the database.
> The system is an older C3650 with 2GB of Physical memory. When I try to start my database, I get the following:
>
> I. 03/23 11:55:14. Note: A cache size of 1433600K exceeds the available physical memory of 647092K. A performance penalty may result.
> I. 03/23 11:55:14. Note: A cache size of 1433600K exceeds the available physical memory of 647092K. A performance penalty may result.
> E. 03/23 11:55:14. *** ERROR *** Assertion failed: 105601 (7.0.4.2789)
> E. 03/23 11:55:14. UT Fatal out of memory error - Out of Memory
>
> My question is where does the 647092K number come from, why is it picking that number (is it set somewhere), and can I find a way to increase it to the 2GB level that physical memory
> is at? If more information is needed, please feel free to send along your questions.

> Any and all help would be most appreciated.
