[HPADM] RE: RPM for HPUX ** Update **

All,
Just quick reply to all those stating that SD-UX is better. I know its
better however I work in a very large organisation with different flavours
of Unix. Having fallen out of love with NIS we are installing all our
support accounts (including SSH keys)via an RPM. AIX now supplies rpm as
part of the base install. There are also versions for Solaris and TRU64
(digital). So as a cross-platform installer for select in-house packages
RPM is perfect. Except I cannot find a build for HPUX.

Subject: [HPADM] RPM for HPUX

All,
I was wondering if anyone out there had succeeded in compiling and using
RPM - Redhat Package Manager on the HPUX platform?

Julian

Subject: Graph CPU/MEM/Hard disk space collection data

Hi Admins,

I have collected perf statistics from my server across different platform
(aix, hpux, linux) but using different approach of data collection. What I
want to achieve is to have a common data collection, not dependent on OS
and could easily plot them in a line graph.

Would anyone has done this before and like to share it with me?

Thanks in advance,
Ruby Ann Domalanta
