Ok, another LVM question for everyone!
I searched the Listserv and only saw one e-mail related to this.
I am setting up a new MC/Service Guard cluster and am trying to figure
out if I can/should use PVGs instead of just added the LUNs to the vg.
Sounds like this can be done with MC/Service Guard. Is anyone doing
it?
Do alternate links work ok using PVGs?
What happens when I do a vgimport of the volume group on the 2nd node,
do I need to rebuild /etc/lvmpvg or how does the this work when doing an
import using the -s option.
I have two storage servers and I think doing mirroring would be simpler
and better if I could use PVGs instead of a bunch of disks and trying to
make sure I mirror to the right ones.
Thanks,
- Justin
