Thanks to Bill Hassell,
After reviewing the /etc/profile and the .profile MANPATH variables...The
/etc/profile was correct and the MANPATH variable was changed by omniback
installation to the omniback man pages in the root .profile .
Bill indicated to me that the man pages are not optional and I should check
my MANPATH if there were files in the /usr/share/man directory.
