Hi All,
I am looking for advice on upgrading our disk subsystem.
Here is my current configuration - HP 9000 RP5450 quad, A5158A fiber
channel card, Surestore E FC60, Surestore E SC10.
Current issues: The system had a uptime of about 600 days until last
week. The system went into a panic reboot several times during the
weekend, turns out the fiber channel card in the server was causing the
problem, luckily I had a spare. Over the course of 3 years I have
replace several drives on the SC10, good thing for the RAID.
After doing some research on the web it seems there has been a lot of
issues with FC60 system?
I am looking for suggestions to help me find the best course of action
for this server.
Ideas or thoughts?
