11.00 had only one OE: foundation. Everything else was added from the app
discs on a product by product basis. You can script it if you look for the
various products.

1. Assume that you have foundation by default.
2. If you find Online-JFS and MirrorDisk/UX and Glance you
essentially have the Enterprise version. You may not find all
     three.
3. If you have the above plus MC/ServiceGuard then you have
     MissionCritical.

Oops--sorry. I meant it works on 11i, but it doesn't work on 11.00. How do

I determine the OE on 11.00?

Sure it works on 11i.

Here's the list:

HPUX11i-OE. . . . . . . HP-UX Operating Environment Component

HPUX11i-OE-Ent . . . . HP-UX Enterprise Operating Environment Component

HPUX11i-OE-MC . . . . HP-UX Mission Critical Operating Environment
Component

On 11i, I can determine the OE:

$swlist|grep OE
    HPUX11i-OE B.11.11.0312 HP-UX 11i Operating
Environment Component

This doesn't work on 11i, though. How do I view the OE on 11i?
